From the curator👨‍💻

I think that now is a good time for you guys to get to know me a little as we approach the 200 subscriber mark. So before we jump into this weeks gems that I found, here is just a little about myself.
I'm Nic, I'm 24, I've just moved back to my home country of South Africa after a long 2 years in Asia, where I was a freelance content writer and copywriter working with Startups in Bangkok, with the occasional English tutoring on the side.

I started this newsletter because of the shear number of amazing products made by solo founders that go unnoticed, the amount actionable podcasts that get lost in the abyss of the internet, the SaaS (Software as a service) products that could be literal game changers for so many businesses. I want to share these creations made by these solo founders to other founders and anybody that might find value in the content I share for their own ventures, creativity, productivity or knowledge.

If you're just finding this newsletter now and you enjoy it, you can subscribe with this massive button thingy down below!❤️ If not, break my heart and unsubscribe here. 🥺
This weeks catches🎣
Here is some SaaS products, apps and extensions that I discovered this week.

minimap landing page
Minimap is a simple road map that allows founders and teams to stay in the loop by providing tools which allow you order your projects, add users to a board so they can see what's going on and allows users (private or public) to vote on features they would like to see.

write next landing page
WriteNext is the writing application that boosts your writing. You will increase your focus and writing performance, and reduce distractions by separating your creative writing from other activities. WriteNext turns writing into a healthy daily habit.

landing page for treestyle tab
TreeStyleTabs is a browser extension that eliminated the problem of having messy tabs in your browser by displaying tabs in a hierarchical structure similar to a tree.

landing page for abbysale
An all-in-one platform that enables you to generate and manage personalized social & advertising banners for your business!

Presentify landing page
A macOS menu bar app that helps you give better presentations, online classes, or video tutorials by letting you annotate any screen, highlight your cursor, and more.

Userback landing page
Userback is a visual feedback solution for designers, web agencies, and software companies. It lets you collect and manage customer feedback with video recordings and annotated screenshots.

My picks of dope newsletters and communities for this week.
Zero to marketing - A newsletter focused on 5 minute marketing case studies providing actionable tips on how to grow businesses.

Rosieland - If you're into community building than this newsletter is for you, every Monday you will receive helpful links and resources to building online communities. Rosie is also the community leader for Indie Hackers and has blog with some great stuff too!

Podcast of the week🎙️

Podcast of the week goes to the guys over at UI Breakfast who recently featured Dru Riley, the man behind, where they spoke about the importance of identifying trends and how to apply them over multiple industries.

Blog posts/Articles 📚

There is a lot of crap on the internet, so I rifle through it and pick a out gem or two that I found.
How Mike Rubini builds and runs multiple profitable tech startups as a solo founder. I found a lot of value in this and  think you might to. Growth lessons also has great newsletter so be sure to subscribe!

How to get ideas using the meat grinder approach by Tyler Tringas

"Once you get even a modicum of success, lots of people will start asking you about how you got an idea like that, and for any tips and tricks on how to “come up” with a similar idea."  read more
That's all for this week, I'll be back next week, same time, same place.💪🏻
